She's always been a role model for those young women who are proud of their curves.

But as Peaches Geldof stepped out in London last night, it appeared she has undergone something of a body transformation in recent months.

The 22-year-old star appeared to have lost a drastic amount of weight, and showed off her new slim figure in a clingy red dress as she left the Bungalow 8 nightclub.


Peaches is believed to have lost around one-and-a-half stone since March, going from 10 stone to a tiny eight-and-a-half stone. And, given that she is 5ft 7in tall, Peaches would appear to be slightly underweight for her height.

However, the socialite came forward recently to defend herself after critics hit out at her weight loss, insisting she has shed the extra pounds sensibly.

She tweeted earlier this week: 'To those telling me I look skinny and to eat something, I can assure you I've just cut out eating crap.

'
I still eat like a horse, guys!'

It has also been claimed that the reason for Peaches' transformation is her boyfriend Thomas Cohen, who she has been dating since January.

A source told Now magazine: 'Peaches says it really is true love this time, so she's decided to turn her life around.

‘She wants to avoid being in the papers for the wrong reasons, so she's stopped the wild partying and has been working out like crazy and eating healthily.'

And if Peaches wanted to show off her new figure, she certainly chose the right outfit to do so as she left the club with a friend.

With her hair scraped back into a tight bun, the off the shoulder Mark Fast dress highlighted her toned torso and slender legs.

Peaches teamed the red outfit with a pair of black peep-toe heels and two gold necklaces for her evening out. She began the night at the Paradise pub in Kilburn for designer Fast's summer party, before continuing the party at Bungalow 8.

But things didn't quite go according to plan for the presenter, who tweeted later in the evening that she had nearly taken a tumble on her way out of the club.

She tweeted: 'Left the party, sooo many paps outside- they blinded me with flashes and @PhloFinister fell over because of it and almost took me with her!!'

Peaches later added: 'To be honest not the most classy exit- almost tripping over because @PhloFinister got completely blinded by a zillion bright flashes!! Argh!'
